Emirates Airlines (Dubai, by suzyking)

5 Points out of 5

By far the best airline I have ever flown with. The cabin crew were fantastic every minute of the flight. The food was actually quite nice, I have to have a gluten-free meal and unlike other airlines, I was given a very nice selection of food. There was so many films to watch that I didn’t know where to start, loved the fact that I could check our flight plan at any time that I wanted as well as playing games such as bowling, pool and poker on the games screen.

Amazing airport, it’s huge with loads of shops to get anything that you want, plenty of seating areas, lots of little cafes to get something to eat and a beautiful little fountain. It was all very clean and staff were great. They take any currancy from anywhere in the world but your change will be in the local currancy. All the gates and facilities were easy to find thanks to the signs.

4 Points out of 5

This is a small shopping centre for souvenirs, carpets, shawl, antiques, etc. All items have price tags, employees are friendly, not “pushy”. You will not have the impression that someone tries to cheat, tell you a wrong price, lies about product quality or something like that. The building is directly on the opposite side of the Abu Dhabi Mall, across the street.
I bought several items at GAC Gulf Antiques & Carpets Exb. Very friendly staff, they explain the different wool and silk materials and why one is more expensive than the other.
