This hotel is right behind the Tirana International Hotel in the center of the city. It's clean, near everything and the staff speaks both Italian and English. At night it's a safe place to walk at after an evening of partying in the "bllok". The rooms are quiet and the bathroom functional (don't touch the pipes of the boiler and bring your own hairdryer). Finally, the breakfast is excellent, available in both continental and italian declination and parking is available (indoor and cheap). Great quality price ratio. Suggested!

Placed in a beautiful setting, a public park on a lake shore right in front of the lake of Ohrid, at a bunch of km from both the Macedonian border and Pogradec, Vila Art is both a restaurant and an hotel. I only experienced (three times in the same week) the restaurant and it was delightful. Try their "Koran", the local fish (an endemic specie), and their meat. Good wine and good service. And when the lunch is over there is a whole beautiful park to walk to digest.

Lovely place and very interesting too. centuries of history. It is an experience to get to as well , travelling through Albania is a real eye-opener the extremes of richness and poverty since the fall of the communists is startling at times.

Hotel Nirvana has earned its name! I had a big room and a basic bathroom. For Albanian standards this if of a high standard ; ) Breakfast is ok, but you only get one coffee free, the second one you have to pay for. The hotel is close to the German Embassy. I couldn't by card, cash only!
