Don't go ! no professional, liars, dishonest. My worst experience in BA. They didnot give the courses i paid for ! To me the worst is how they behaved. I asked them to call me to make things clear they never did. they never recognised that i had no schedule. they shouted at me, being rude. they blamed me for making them lose time but it is me that lost one month ! i was here for a temporary stay and could not have lessons i paid for. they even made me pay the fee for inscription (25 usd) where as they was unabled to make a schedule. I was warned that such things can happen in Argentina but wasnot expecting from a school. That was a bad pick and back luck. People can make mistake but just recognise them, don’t blame your clients and stay polite please, and don’t screw me with money : making me pay at 25 USD private clases that would cost 8 USD in the package i had bought. So unprofessional, liars, dishonest and rude. Great school ! There are so many language schools in BA so i would advise really not taking any risk with that one. (thomasenligne, 18-04-2012)

Great Philippe Starck Hotel! Great place to be. Good food... Bright white luxury interior with crimson to the mounted unicorn heads that gaze down from the walls. Unforgettable! (sommer_muc, 10-02-2012)

Expanish - Buenos Aires

Starting this Spanish course was easy and quick. I went to take a tour of Expanish and once I’d decided to give it a try the enrolment process was all very efficient and I was starting in a matter of days. At orientation, on the first day everything about the school is explained thoroughly, you then receive a bag with all the material (you don’t even have to bring a pen for yourself – it’s included), and finally you are put in a class according to your level. By being Italian my problem is not so much comprehension as actually being able to properly speak and write in Spanish. I’ve been at Expanish only one week doing the intensive course, and I was impressed by my improvement. I really feel I am more confident and a bit more fluent in conversation and the lessons have been extremely helpful for my grammar skills. I am looking forwards to continuing with my studies for the next weeks, with the hope of being able to master the language once I’m done (only then I will give Expanish a five star review). For everything regarding extra activities, just know that there is a variety of them everyday, both free and charged (most around 20USD), and they change every week, so there is a lot of stuff to do. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my choice of school, the people here are very friendly, both fellow student and the staff, the teachers are incredibly prepared (all know at least two languages fluently!) and the environment is welcoming and stimulating. If you are looking for some good Spanish classes in Buenos Aires I think you should go and have a look at Expanish and you might very well be convinced - but maybe don’t come by during recess, we do tend to speak English as a break from all the Spanish =) (mlpigazzini, 07-02-2012)

Graffitimundo - Buenos Aires
Buenos Aires
Graffitimundo conduct street art tours of Buenos Aires. Run by Brits Jonny and Marina, their knowledge of the incredible street art scene in the city is unparalleled. When I went on the tour in 2010, Jonny was about to talk about the different techniques, subject matter and even the various collaboarations the artists had been involved in recently. In addition to providing an alternative tour of such a great city, Graffitimundo will also give each customer a list of insider tips for the city. Should you decide you'd like to bring a piece of Buenos Aires street art home with you, they will also arrange all the paperwork and even shipping back to your home country. Highly recommended! First, I think that Polo is really an experience to live in Buenos Aires since there's not so many places in the world to do it ... Then, this Polo trip was a very nice day !! Fernando picked us up downtown and took us to a lovely place outside BsAs. Horses are easy to ride so you don't need at all to know a lot about them (of course the ones who are used to ride must enjoy even more!). I was just a little confused at beginning because the way of riding is different (just one hand is free...), but we stayed so much time on horses that we really had the opportunity to get used. And then we played a match, until the sunset (beautiful), and, probably because of the game which we were concentrated for, I completely forgot I was riding a horse and it became much easier (and I think it's a common feeling...) !! So you really enjoy it and you leave thinking you achieved something very unusual !!! I definitely recommend it and I'll do it again if hopefully one day I'm around again ... My favorite cemetry in Buenos Aires, relaxing atmosphere and nice graves... you will find a lot of famous people burried there including Eva Perron. It has to be seen to get a real taste of Buenos Aires (Delikatessa, 20-09-2011)
