The closest you'll get to a genuine American burger or wings in Linz. A large menu, friendly staff. You normally wait about 10mins. There's 2 small tables inside and a patio area outside. Price (normal "Greek restaurant"-prices) and value are an absolute fit here. Everything is large and tasty and the personal is friendly - partly also English speaking but no English menu available. The non-smokers area is by far more pleasant and nice than the smokers-area. I wasn't able to try out the garden but it looks nice - might be a bit noisy due to the street close by. Fantastic location, large patio & gorgeous interior. The pizzas are HUGE. I ordered bruschetta to start. It was delicious. Then a small Insalata Nizza which was just ok. My partner ordered Penne Salsiccia & it was good with an interesting flavour. Our waiter was friendly. 2 negative points... 1. Our food took atleast 35 minutes to arrive after ordering. And the stench of the drains was AWFUL. Hopefully this will improve with time!!! I have since changed my opinion of L'Osteria. The food is delicious. There is always a great specials menu. The take-away service is brilliant. It is also attached to the great Ignis Vinothek. Not a complaint here. Deservingly, L'Osteria has moved up into one of my top 5 restaurants in Linz!
