Awesome place! Super rooms, super food, super wellness, super staff – we really love this hotel, it’s our favorite one around here. The more often we visit, the harder it gets to leave again!! Check out their website on http://www.held.at. And don’t miss the awesome skiing slope nearby, in the morning it’s lovely on top when the sun rises…

Really cute restaurant with big portions!

The kaisershmarren was amazing. Was missing cream nuts and raisins. But it must be the best one I have ever had. All butter-y and moist.

Schnitzel was great too. They do different meat fondue type specials so expect to smell of cooking when you Leave.

Try to book a table. There was only 2 of us and we had to wait for 10 mins. After 7 there was several groups being turned away because it was so busy.

This was 9 euros! it was all fridge cold so it didn’t taste of anything. Spaghetti was tasteless and of canteen quality.

Service was like going to McD.

Think we ll drive somewhere next time.

Ferienhof Nogler (Zell am Ziller, by Petre)

5 Points out of 5

Ferienhof Nogler is a holiday house with 3 apartments located in Zellberg, just 3 minutes away from the Zell am Ziller center. Coming the first time there, it’s a little bit tricky because it’s not on the main road, but on a side road on the left just before Zellberg ends; but not more than 50 meters from the main Road. This makes it very quiet, and from the rooms you can admire the alpine panorama.
There are plenty parking spaces in front of the house, the entrance to the apartments is separated from the family owning the place entrance, and the ski room is very well equipped and modern.
Apartments look like they were build this year, although they were renovated 3 year ago. They are very clean, with new furniture and everything you need for a holiday, even dishwasher. The bathrooms are spacious and the hot water never ends. There is a special room for kids, very nicely decorated and with all sort of toys.
The family owing the place is very friendly and takes care always for the tourists to have everything they need. We asked them to raise the temperature in the apartments a little bit and there was no problem. They also gave us everything we need to do a barbecue – grill, wood, charcoal. We just came with the meat.
The place is situated 5 minutes by car to the Zillertal Arena and another 5 minutes to the railway station, from where you can take the train to Mayrhofen. From Mayrhofen you can take the bus to Hintertux Glacier if you want to ski in that area. The whole journey takes about 1 hour, and going by car takes 45 minutes.
It was my third time in Zillertal area and this was the best accommodation I had there. I would definitely come back here.

1 Points out of 5

A friend and I were disappointed with the accommodation here. It has solar pannels and it looks different depending on which side of the building your at. The whole place has a weird and horrible poignant smell which will last with you for months after you return. The baths are old and you can hear other people though the plug hole through the bath. If you are booking a stay here be careful not to book a Austrian Twin because the beds in the room are inseparable.
I found the staff rude and unfriendly. For example they didn’t tell or show us that their was a storage area in the basement for storing are winter sports gear. They come across as always being busy, even at the best of times.
Overall the food was dire. The bread was hard, the porridge gave me a headache and the cooked food tasted dull and was almost inedible. If you read TripAdvisor reviews then you will notice that their is or was a problem with hygiene in the chefs’ kitchen
Sonnenhof is set in a elevated position and is little too out of the way from the village. I would only recommend this place if you are only really after a bit of peace and quiet because the whole village itself is quiet and quaint. If you are a beginner of snow sports or you want a slope or lift right on your doorstep then the Sonnenhof Hotel isn’t the place for you.
The positive points about this holiday is that the village and surrounding area are very picturesque. Soll has a very slow pace of life and the village itself has a lot of culture and religion for the individual to explore or take in. If you want lively nightlife and plenty of activities to do, they are always available to find. People, please be warned that the Sonnenhof is an isolated hell-hole; just know the facts about staying in a chalet environment and setting before you book or travel because being in a chalet can be a very personal experience.

My daughter was diagnosed with primary lymphedema at the age of 10. We had treatments in Canada which were great but nothing can compare to the experience we had at Wittlinger Therapiezentrum. The progress she made was incredible. The confidence she gained in knowing how to help herself and live with this condition was invaluable. Thank you so much to everyone at the clinic that helped us. Even though she is able to maintain these great results, we can’t wait to return for another visit.

Thank you all so much for all you did for us.
