Small tables, small aisles between them. Good selection of beers. Wide selection of bundled 3 or 4 course menus for reasonable prices.
Good and fast service.

While the menu lacks some "typical" european-chinese dishes such as Sechuan chicken or Beef with Onions, the duck dishes were quite tasty.
Service however was slow: empty glasses and dishes were whisked away faster than one could look, trying to get a refill however required work, not once were we asked if we wanted something else/new to drink.

Jazz, blues, soul, six beers on draught and about another 70 bottled. Only slightly out of the way, mostly locals (who are very friendly!), and a very nice bloke who runs the bar. One of the best bars in Brugge.

Quite simply the best bar I've ever been to. A selection of around 300 beers, with the specials and reserves changing every so often; guest beer on draught along with the mainstay Brugse Zot. The lady who runs it, Daisy, is simply brilliant, as are all her staff. A range of snacks that are simple and tasty. The atmosphere is loud and a little cramped but it just seems to add to its charm. In the five times I've been to Bruges, I have wasted entire days in here. It has a sort of intangible comfort that makes it a little dangerous; go in with a few friends part way through the day for a 'cheeky Zot' and it quickly turns in to 'stay and work slowly through some new beers'; or just taking a book and sampling a few of the reservas for a relaxing evening. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

A very small, very traditional restaurant run by a couple, largely frequented by locals. The cuisine is traditional Flemish cuisine so expect a range of baked fish, waterzooi and stews. The produce used is very fresh, and the cooking excellent - with a superb range of beers and wines to boot. The restaurant only has 7 tables so booking is essential. The atmosphere, as you would expect, is very homely. The patrons are very polite and service is prompt. Would recommend very highly as a place to escape the tourists and enjoy what has been the best meal I have had in Brugge in the five times I've visited. Expect 40€ per head for a three course meal with wine/beer, which is about average in Brugge.

A few years ago, this restaurant was a gem. However it has deteriorated rapidly in the past few years into a poor eatery with rude staff and poor, expensive food. Generally a tourist trap. Best avoided for now - hopefully they will get their act together if people stay away.

This restaurant is quite simply a joke. Having ordered the Turkey hot stone (cook yourself at table) we thought it would be a fun choice. The stone didn't cook very quickly so our chips got cold, we complained. To compensate the waiter gave us another portion of chips and an extra hot stone. Thanks... But oh no, not all is well. We finished our meal and got the bill €93.50 - for what I hear you cry?!
1 x orange juice €10 exactly
1 x coke €6 exactly
The nice waiter charged us for the extra chips.. And it was €22 each for our main 4 x thin turkey strips and some manky chips, plus 1 soup and 2 croquettes. . Oh and read the menu carefully because for an extra piece of cutlery, say for sharing, that's €3 - correct you have to pay. If you go here and only take from this review one thing remember it is €10 for an orange juice. I will never ever forget it!!
