Eurotel - Liège
Rue Léon Frédéricq 29
4020 Liège
The room is very small, but the hostess was very friendly. It was very hard to find a Parking Place. The hotel is located near the river and easy to access to the center of the city. (fae178, 10-05-2012)

Best Western Univers Hotel - Liège
Rue des Guillemins 116

This hotel is very modern and clean. Very good access to the station and there is a big parking house near the hotel. The room is small, but very comfortable.   (fae178, 10-05-2012)

Le Grand Cafe De La Gare - Liège
Gare Des Guillemins c20
4000 Liège
OK, this may not be the best restaurant for miles around, but I don't have anything much to complain about: the interior is a bit posh (while the audience probably isn't and is just waiting for a train like I did). I was told that I could not choose from pages X, Y and Z because it was not 6 PM yet. So I picked from the limited list that was available, had serrano ham and toast with a glass of wine and that was that. Other than that: I had wanted to see this station as it stands for one of the highlights of modern architecture in the Walloon part of the country. It somehow reminded me of a BMW publicity in the Munich airport that also has the shape of a whale skeleton, but other than that: this must be the coldest station outside North Korea that I have ever been! The wind absolutely blows in from everywhere! (geertbarbier, 07-01-2012)

Great weekend out and one of the few GP's that it did not rain .. (The Huge, 21-12-2011)

Ceci n'est pas un hôtel - Liège
Rue Sainte Marguerite 47

"Ceci n'est pas un hôtel" is indeed no hotel. It's like a friend's place. Completely invisible from the outside, you step inside a warm, historic town house full of character. We enjoyed every minute being at this spacious and tidy place, and are glad we took the delightful breakfast as well, which is worth every single cent. (timo23, 05-12-2011)

Best Western Post Hotel - Liège
Rue Hurbise 160
4040 Liège
This was the first hotel we stayed in on our way down to the German Christmas Markets on our Shearings Tour .. We were late arriving but the food was ready and our rooms prepared. We had a good nights sleep and the breakfast was vey welcome. The beds were very comfortable and it was a shame when we had to get up early to continue down to Stuttgart. Very good hotel (TTFan Huntly (Snaefell), 04-12-2011)

Brazilia - Liège
Pont D'avroy 44

Interesting decor, the inside looks like an upside-down boat. A huge selection from sandwiches to steaks. I had the dutch beef stew: dark, sweet and rich with large chunks of slow-cooked meat. My partner tried the mixed brochette: a large skewer of pork steak with a couple of meguez sausages. Both tasted very good, and were generous portions, particularly the kebab. Small, but interesting rang of beers and a nice red house wine: strongly recommended. (GCattermole, 04-09-2011)

They thought they were just getting sand and sea. But vacationers on the Belgian North Sea coast have been wowed by a dolphin who has shown a penchant for putting on a show close to shore. They were looking for a simple beach vacation. But this week, guests near the North Sea resort town of Knokke-Heist in Belgium have gotten more entertainment than they bargained for. Just a few dozen meters from the shoreline, a single dolphin, thought to be a bottlenose, has been frolicking in the waves and wowing families on the beach this week. (pflege24, 13-01-2011)

Real napkins is a good start. Friendly service and good food. We were 5 and ate/drank for 30€/head with aperitif but without dessert and coffee which is OK The portions were generous (hence no dessert) If you don't like scampi then the choice is a bit limited Still a good choice and families are welcome (pierseyre-walker, 04-01-2011)

Am Steineweiher - Sankt Vith
Rodter Strasse 32

Great atmosphere. Lovely setting. Great food and very individual rooms. Don't expect a lift to get upstairs though, there isn't one. A friendly family run hotel (pierseyre-walker, 04-11-2010)
