The room is very small, but the hostess was very friendly.
It was very hard to find a Parking Place.
The hotel is located near the river and easy to access to the center of the city.

This hotel is very modern and clean.
Very good access to the station and there is a big parking house near the hotel.
The room is small, but very comfortable.

OK, this may not be the best restaurant for miles around, but I don't have anything much to complain about: the interior is a bit posh (while the audience probably isn't and is just waiting for a train like I did). I was told that I could not choose from pages X, Y and Z because it was not 6 PM yet. So I picked from the limited list that was available, had serrano ham and toast with a glass of wine and that was that.
Other than that: I had wanted to see this station as it stands for one of the highlights of modern architecture in the Walloon part of the country. It somehow reminded me of a BMW publicity in the Munich airport that also has the shape of a whale skeleton, but other than that: this must be the coldest station outside North Korea that I have ever been! The wind absolutely blows in from everywhere!

"Ceci n'est pas un hôtel" is indeed no hotel. It's like a friend's place. Completely invisible from the outside, you step inside a warm, historic town house full of character. We enjoyed every minute being at this spacious and tidy place, and are glad we took the delightful breakfast as well, which is worth every single cent.

This was the first hotel we stayed in on our way down to the German Christmas Markets on our Shearings Tour ..
We were late arriving but the food was ready and our rooms prepared. We had a good nights sleep and the breakfast was vey welcome.
The beds were very comfortable and it was a shame when we had to get up early to continue down to Stuttgart.
Very good hotel

Interesting decor, the inside looks like an upside-down boat.
A huge selection from sandwiches to steaks.
I had the dutch beef stew: dark, sweet and rich with large chunks of slow-cooked meat. My partner tried the mixed brochette: a large skewer of pork steak with a couple of meguez sausages. Both tasted very good, and were generous portions, particularly the kebab.
Small, but interesting rang of beers and a nice red house wine: strongly recommended.

Very good filet americain but too expensive for the rest. Good family atmosphere and friendly service. Nice 'Old World' touch and in the same hands since 1953!

On my way back to Paris I had an hour to spend in Liege and it being around 6pm I decided I would get me something to eat. As the Thai restaurant was closed I ended up in Mirabella's Pizza. The place looked clean and a bright.
The atmosphere is not cold, but also not that you say wow what a warm atmosphere.
From the restaurant you can see the food being prepared and unlike the name suggest they are doing lot more then pizza only.
While I waited for my pizza I saw some lovely tournedos pass by.
MY pizza was ok, not to heavy filled but also not skinned. Prices at Maribella's are ok, and I am sure you will have a good meal when you get there

Magnificent architecture. Small but elegant theatre in the centre of Liege. I had a chance to see Macbeth in this hall which was excellent too. However, the slanted stage is quite unpopular among dancers. This opera house is soon to be renovated, I heard. I hope they will keep the classic splendor.
