A really nice and and stylish place that serves both Italian and American food. Don't be distracted by the part you see first: the few tables outside at the street and on the first floor (smoker's area) are not bad but the real beauty of this place reveals itself when you go down to the basement where you can watch the chefs and the fresh ingredients in the kitchen behind glass panes. Also, the garden area behind the building is a welcome change compared to the common picture of house fronts in Sofia which are hidden by the big trees there. The food is also delicious with homemade bread, a variety of hams and cheeses for starters and really good main courses. Only the pizza is not as good as in a typical Italian place and tastes more like the ones from Vapiano, which costs the restaurant the one missing star.

Много добър ресторант, с прекрасна гледка над цяла София. Обслужването е добро и ненатрапчиво, а готвачът е майстор в приготвянето на вкусни ястия.

One of the largest buildings in sofia! An old, but badly modernized station with connection to Busses and the subway system.
Many small stores and a place to store the luggage. On the counter noone speaks English, but most of the timetables are written in latin and cyrillic letters.

Staff friendly and helpful, room was good, modern & clean, although a little on the small side. Breakfast was not great - small selection of buffet breakfast foods, no high chair for our baby, staff present but round the corner out of view. Location pretty central & handy for getting to the train station by foot (15 mins).

Good, tasty, simple food - we shared a mixed grill for one and also had some bread & salad. Adequate service, but this wasn't very friendly, and it did let the experience down a little.

A tiny Italian restaurant in a back alley in the center of Sofia.
The walls are covered with post cards and cutouts from Italian newspapers.
The interior is more or less Italian folklore: plain wooden benches and wooden tables with some colorful cloth covers parts of it. The place looks clean.
We got our hopes up when we heard the female owner of the restaurant speaking Italian.
The prices are moderate, but above the Bulgarian standard.
The food we got was bad, especially the pasta carbonara. It consisted of some tasteless noodles and fried bacon, a jar of tasteless Parmesan was provided along with it.
The pizza was ok, but three times of the price you normally pay in Sofia.
The salad consisted out of a bunch of vegetables thrown together without much love.
I was not surprised to find the place empty again when we passed another time.
Staff was friendly and understood English, though she preferred to answer in Italian. Which is a lovely language to listen too ;).

This place is hilarious and so much fun!
Find yourself surrounded by tons of Kitsch and enjoy it!
It's located in the very center of Sofia on a busy street with lots shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. In fact, the nice bar across the street will entertain you as well, so loud it their music till late in the night.
The entrance of the house does not look like something special.
This is a one bedroom apartment and though it has a kitchen it's not really equipped to stay there longer if you intend to cook yourself.
We loved details like that the owner provides coffee pads long with the coffee machine.
There are a lot of different light switches and dimmers, use them and it will set even more details into the right scenery.
The spa facilities were a bit of a disappointment. The whirlpool is so small, that hardly one grown person fits in there, let alone two. The steam bath is tiny and the benches are so small that you tend to slip from them or at least sit uncomfortable.
A funny detail was is the extra TV screen to watch from the steam bath .... however that is meant to work with all the steam.
The main room and the bed room head to the street, it's quite noisy till late in the night.
The airco works fine and so does all the other technical equipment.
There are different websites on which you can book this apartment and prices differ, the main page does not give prices. You can negotiate.

A nice, user friendly airport. Small but has everything you need. The business lounges never seem to be too busy and customer service is good. A hassle free experience.

Truly a fabulous hotel. Absolutely huge rooms with excellent, well appointed bathrooms. Free internet available which is important for business travellers like myself. Well above average restaurant that is expensive for Sofia but cheap by London standards.
