In may and june I worked at the Teatro Municipal in Santiago and a few times I went for a meal to the restaurant blue jar. It's a bit on the expensive side and the food is delicious! The owner is Mrs Cecile Latham-Koenig from England an she has one of the best cook in town. The variety of meals are a kind of european cuisine. Highly recommended! (romifu47, 31-07-2011) 5

Average hotel in a safe and beautiful modern neighborhood of Santiago. The rooms are clean, but with outdated technology that includes the door locks. Don't expect any extras or amenities. Don't leave any valuables in your room unattended. The subway is a rather long walk away and taxi drivers are notorious to overcharge tourists for downtown rides.
