We have stayed in Mamaison Hotel Riverside Prague only with my wife for one day only. But we both fell in love to that hotel. Very good and smiling personel, excellent transfer-service. Good location. Stylish design. Very tasty breakfast. Coffee-machine in room. Great bathroom.

Worst club in the Prague. Be vigilant and careful - instead of good and funny spend time - You can have discrimination on a national sign and destroyed health.I with me friend, want enter in this club, but tickets seller dont want let us in - because we are foreigners and dont speak czech. When I get out my mobile phone (with camera) and want do film proof discrimination on a national sign incident - he call the security, and beat phone from my hand. After that security drag me out start beating and use pepper spray - try as much as possible destroy my health.

Relatively cheap and still tasty food on top of a shopping centre. Nice loungy terrace, a good place for a sunny day :)
The food is ok, but not as fancy as the menu makes it seem.

Real authentic spot which homes locals as well as foreigners (like us:-) and excells with their draught beer and traditional dishes (even an english menue is handed out, but don´t hesitate to show up at the buffet window and ask what you see). We spent quite some agreeable moments and hope that the local crowd will still frequent this place and not give it up to tourists.

If you don't do budget, and I don't, any more, then avoid this place!
Entry is via 4 flights of stairs which is used for the smokers and no opening windows, so stank.
There is a lift but once in there isn't a barrier to safeguard against the moving parts, so pretty scary.
The decor is dated. The beds are like slabs. The lighting is dim. The carpets are like sandpaper. They allow smoking in the halls, which stinks the place out. The building is out of the communist era.
Despite the pics on booking.com and tripadvisor you cannot walk allow the river and the gate to the small area outside is padlocked.
Our first room had 2 singles despite having booked a double and was on the noisy roadside. The shower was full of orange gunge on the tiles and grout The 2nd did have twin beds pushed together. The shower head was broken and the door had a dodgy lock, which was soooo dangerous as we had to fiddle with it to unlock it. The breakfast was below average.
Our room was not made up at all throughout our stay.
It is a good few miles from the old town of Prague but there is a tram a few hundred metres from the hotel. Only downside is that you can't buy tickets from the hotel and there isn't a ticket machine until you get to Prague town. So if you get on, on your first day, you run the risk of getting caught without a ticket and will get fined. So you either run the risk or walk or get a cab.
I would not recommend this hotel but Prague was lots of fun!!

Beautiful hotel close to the castle and 10 minutes away from the old town center. Warm welcome. The rooms are very nice and spacious, beds too soft. We booked a junior suite. Just one TV in the leaving room, none in the bedroom. Extraordinary furniture. No coffee machine on the room :-( overnight parking is 25€ - quite expensive.
The hotel is located along a main road running also a tram track. Tram starts 6am and ends at midnight. The tracks go around the hotel. Actually it is quiet but you hear the low vibrations when trams pass. And they do every other minute.
Nevertheless, I would stay again.
