kaufmanns - Speisenmanufaktur - Rosenheim
Färberstraße 6
83022 Rosenheim
Rosenheim and it's love of good coffee and food has been a great surprise for us. Over the summer, we noticed that Kaufmanns' deck was packed with people and that usually means that something good is going on. Well, they're right! After two visits I can safely say that this is my favorite restaurant in Rosenheim and maybe even München. The menu is small but focused on quality as is the service. Both times there've only been two servers and the restaurant has been full and they still manage to keep up with keeping their customers happy. We'll definitely return again and again. Gaststätte Espana - Rosenheim
Kaiserstr. 24
83022 Rosenheim
I just went by to make reservation for tonight and there was an undated sign stating that they're closed for four weeks due to water damage. Who knows when that was posted? Hopefully, it's not like the running sushi place that's been closed since July for the "same reason". (wunnspeed, 13-01-2012)

Maharadscha - Rosenheim
Salinplatz 8b
83022 Rosenheim
We ate at Maharadscha last night. Given that it was on the 30th and most of Rosenheim was empty they were surprisingly busy. The restraurant itself is quite attractive and well decorated in an odd Indian/Bavarian motif. We were seated by a lady, who I can only assume is completely in charge of the place and everyone that works for her. She seemed as though she'd take no lip from anyone (good for her). However, once she seated us, it seemed like forever before she returned with menus. The menu was extensive and we ended up deciding on an appetizer and a Thali plate for 2. My wife lived in India for awhile and knows what most Indian food is. The appetizer arrived and instead of being a "puff pastry" with onions it was more like onion rings. Good, but strange. Then the Thali arrived. It also had "curious" ingredients (i.e. kidney beans and lots of sliced peppers). It was generally quite good but about half way through our meal the aforementioned lady walked by our table and under her breath said "pappadoms" and quickly returned with them. That made it better. Was it bad, not at all, in fact, quite good. Will I go back? Maybe. There are still two other Indian restaurants that I haven't tried yet. The reason I gave it a 3 star review was because of the "odd" ingredients and semi-slow service. (wunnspeed, 31-12-2011)

INNig - Die Liebe zum guten Geschmack - Rosenheim
Innstraße 13
83209 Rosenheim
I've visited INNig twice in the last week. Once for coffee and once for lunch and coffee. Both times I've been impressed by the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff (not something that's normal in Germany). The coffee is excellent, the space is amazing (my wife and I have a thing for industrial buildings and loft spaces) and the food at lunch yesterday was very good. I had a vegetable gnocchi which was cooked to perfection and the carrots and broccoli were crispy, not overcooked like most places like to do them. There we thin shavings of parma cheese throughout as well. I added a bit of ground pepper and salt to taste and it made me quite happy. Oddly, there are a lot of undertones of Aran and I wonder if there's some connection (whether the management is or where connected to Aran somehow). In any case, it'll now be an internal battle of which one to frequent since they're so close to one another. (wunnspeed, 15-11-2011)

CompuStore - Rosenheim
Innstraße 1
83022 Rosenheim
The newly opened CompuStore is Rosenheims answer to the Apple Store. It's also now saved my ass. My iMac recently had a major breakdown. I took it in to the guys there, they looked at it and determined it needed to be sent off for service. You pay a fee to have it examined and if you then decide to have it repaired they take that off of your total. Cool! The service was quick, informative (I got continuous updates from the shop and the technician) and a lot less hassle and expense than I'd ever expected. If I have another problem with my Mac, I'll be back. (wunnspeed, 03-11-2011)

Indisches restaurant Sangeet - Rosenheim
nikolai str. 10
83022 Rosenheim
Unfortunately this restaurant is not at this address anymore, I've been just yesterday and there is an Italian one now (frafio, 07-10-2011)

Specialized Concept Store - Rosenheim
Kaiserstrasse 36
83022 Rosenheim
So, I obviously went through the effort to add these guys for a reason. First, they're friendly and helpful. If you've ever shopped in Germany, you'll already know that friendly and helpful are often qualities left behind in "sales people" here. Not this place, each time I've been in the store, they've gone out of their way to make sure that I got anything I needed. In fact, I needed some parts for my "too expensive" carbon soled mtb shoes. They went so far as to remove them from some shoes in stock for me so that I wouldn't have to wait for them. VERY COOL! Thanks guys. Otherwise, I think that they've still got a few kinks to work out buy they've only been open a month so I'll definitely cut them some slack in that regard. (wunnspeed, 19-08-2011)

aran Franchise, Jürgen F. Baur Büro - Rosenheim
Färberstr. 4
Rosenheim
I recently wrote a review of Aran in Roseheim but it was the other one in the Füßgangerzone. As it turns out, I found this one by accident and what a happy accident it was! Not only is it in a fantastic old building but it's got a breakfast menu and even better... IT'S OPEN ON SUNDAYS!!! As always, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is even better than the other location and it has an outdoor seating area for quite a few people. I'll be back.. many times over. (wunnspeed, 25-07-2011)

aran Jürgen F. Baur - Rosenheim
Max-Josefs-Platz 16
83022 Rosenheim
Ah, Aran. One of my favorite coffee places anywhere! The service is always top-notch, the food of excellent quality and the coffee is fantastic. The only problems I have with them is that there aren't more of them and that they aren't open on Sunday when most people seem to want to go to coffee. Otherwise.... FANTASTIC! L'Osteria - Rosenheim
Adlzreiterstr. 17
83022 Rosenheim
We have been there 3 times and there is always Gipsy Kings music so boring, last time was on Saturday and the service was the worst ever, the waiter, a man was really rude we ask to turn down the music a bit since we could not hear each other and he says no, we ask for olive oil and he didn't bring and at the end he kept the tips just without our approval, and he didn't speak English so that is for sure our last time we go here.
