BUTLERS City Center (Landshut, by Isistra)

5 Points out of 5

Butlers is one of the most popular shops in Landshut - at least for me! It's not only about decorating and buying more and more stuff for your home. It's about taking style to your home, about presenting your home in a cosy way, about putting the finishing touches to your home.

I already knew BUTLERS before they came to Landshut, and their first address was in our City Center Landshut, our "mall". But unfortunately, 18 months later they left, only to return last year, which made me really happy. I enjoy strolling through the aisles, looking at new products or just feeling inspired by the items they sell. It's important to mention that BUTLERS always shows the customers how to arrange their articles in a tasteful way. Of course I can surf the internet and just look at the pictures they suggest me on their web site. But that's not the same. I like touching things, changing their position, rearranging decorations. Therefore, our BUTLERS shop is great for me.

The shop assistants are friendly and competent, they help me come in when I am going for a walk with my baby daughter (and a pram), of course they inform me or show me alternatives that might interest me as well. The prices are okay, as the quality is great - I own some items from BUTLERS, but none of them has broken yet.

I can highly recommend BUTLERS if you like style, good furniture, nice things to decorate your flat/house/garden/balcony and if you are looking for hints to arrange all of these things to an exciting decoration.

5 Points out of 5

First review in English: Kaffeekultur Eva Starke ("Coffee culture") is in my eyes the best place in Landshut to get great coffee. The prices are worth the quality, I higly recommend to try "Ethiopia Harar Longberry" and "Espresso Mocca Arabica". Both are excellent coffees. Go there and talk to the shop owner. She knows a lot about the products she sells and will be very eager to give you recommendations fitting your taste.

5 stars!

Nice hotel in the city of Landshut. It makes a very clean and comfortable impression, the rooms are bright and pleasantly decorated, comfortable beds, very well maintained. The staff is very friendly, even at breakfast in the charming little courtyard the service is very good, even when we passed the actual breakfast times already. All in all, thoroughly satisfied and both the location and this beautiful entrance will make it again the 1st choice for me in Landshut.

I was quite satisfied with the food but one really has to be lucky with the service, that's true. I also have heard this about the manager, there seems to be a grain of truth in this. Overall good average, there're plenty of better or cheaper places nearby.

4 Points out of 5

I used to work there for several years and, although I have seen this place day by day - hours by hours it was stayed a very romantic and beautiful Christmas Market. The scenery itself is unique.

They have a broad variety of different foods such as German sausages, Sauerkraut, Glühwein (mulled wine), etc. Moreover, there you can buy everything for Christmas - from funny luminous Santa-Style caps to high quality woodcarvings. It is one of the most beautiful Christmas Markets in this part of Germany.

It gets just four stars because the stalls, which sell underwear, socks, and bags destroy a little bit the atmosphere. Although it is funny to see such stuff on a Xmas market.

Marvellous winter garden restaurant, great view of the Isar and old town of Landshut. I was there recently with friends for a breakfast buffet on the weekend. Big choice on the buffet, very friendly service. The shuttle service can also be used by private people, i.e. to and from the airport with pick-up from home and from the airport - very reliable.

5 Points out of 5

We have been accommodating our business guests there for a while. The resonance has been very good, beautiful rooms, nice personnel, good breakfast. Apart from that, the hotel convinces with its location: in 5 minutes you get to the Ländtor and thus directly to the old town. Also the Isar is quite near, along which you can go for a walk to relax. Also nearby 'directly in front of your nose': bus stops in any direction. There is also a bus shuttle to Munich airport. All over a good choice for business guests and short vacations.

I cannot comment on the rooms but the restaurant is truly fantastic. Very big menu with, on the one hand anything you'd expect and on the other with many unusual dishes. We had our company's Christmas parth there - top. Very good service, very good food. Can only be recommended.
