Good beer. Good music. Good vibe.  REALLY freaking good burgers and EXCELLENT chile.  The place is quite international, very friendly, and always entertaining.  If you find yourself several there in the wee hours of the morning asking where the last several hours have gone by, it is easy enough to stumble home to just about anywhere in Nürnberg, and it is right next to the subway, a couple hundred meters away from the trams and buses, and a nightliner stop so you don't have to worry about those pesky polizei throwing you in jail and taking away your license.  They have been adding some dishes to the menu recently, not all of which I have tried, but haven't been disappointed yet.  And you can enjoy yourself without wondering where all of your poor money went! Went to El Cafe for my birthday with my wife and had a really nice experience.  While it was beautiful ion the inside, we opted to sit in the biergarten because the weather was lovely.  The food was EXCELLENT.  We had a lovely platter with freshly made paperdele in a really good mushroom sauce, a brilliantly cooked steak, home made fries (that's chips to the islanders), nice empanada with a good salsa on top, and a REALLY good chicken caesar salad.  I wasn't going to have a dessert, but then it came out, and it was fantastic.  I have eaten many varieties of brownie growing up in America growing up, but this came out on top of all of them.  Coupled with walnut ice cream really hit the spot.The only bad thing I could say about this place is that the wait staff are letting down the high standard of the kitchen.  Fortunately I am fairly patient, and they actually have decent tequila (i.e. NOT Sierra or Jose) so I could pass the time comfortably.  Other than that, give it a go, be patient with the wait staff (or tell them to get their asses in gear), but it is all about the kitchen, and the kitchen is worth it. OMG the worst sushi I ve had in a long time. And the prices?? The sushi rice was fridge cold, no vinegar in it. Fish could ve Been more fresh and a bit more of it. Chicken sate was 1 stick with some sauce. Absolutely shocking! If ist was well cooked and fresh ingredients i would happily pay for it. But for this? My goodness! (fineschmeckerin, 03-05-2012) 1

The hotel is very nice! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is buffet-style but you can order eggs in all varietees. Rooms are very clean and spacey. Will stay here again! (Diveflo, 30-04-2012) 5

We were warned that the tour would be in German, they don t do any tours in English, but then it was our group of 4 people and one more person, none of us were German speaking. So the guide did it in English anyway. Despite her apologising for her bad English it was great. The tour follows the book about the hitler relics. if you re interested in WW2, history of Nuremberg this is a good place to visit. There s only 1 tour per day. (fineschmeckerin, 30-04-2012) 5
