We stayed in the Mercure Hotel and leaflets for this place were ever where as it was our first night we went and the meal and service were good, As Monday is half price steaks we returned and the steaks were very good cooked to ouir likeing and very tender and tasty. Our Danish friend had chicken with crisps with melted cheese and this was the only meal not up to a good standard. I would have sent it back but she did not want to and left most of it. One of the best bars in the Simon-Dach-Str area, cool bartenders, great service, GREAT cocktails and mixed but not boring crowd. Down points: Smoking friendly (I'm a non-smoker, quite used to the fact that it is normal to smoke almost everywhere in Berlin, but after few hours there is a busy night I really had a headache and sore eyes) and the draft beer (Lübzer, not really the best brand ever)   (orren, 31-05-2012) 4

One of the best pizzas in Berlin - and I have been to some (it is the sister-restaurant of Due Forni in P'berg which has almost the same menu). Table reservations during the weekend is a must, expect waiting time regardless.No English menu (only Italian/German), but you'll manage - even some of the waiters do not speak German.Regarding the service (or the Italian version of service): Well, for them [the staff] you basically a disturbance (but hey, they have great pizza, so suck it). Been to Hirsch 3 or 4 times in the last few months (it is few minutes walk from my house) and I was never disappointed. The menu is quite limited but the dishes are so truly German and yummy (not to mention the value-for-money factor). The beer variety is wonderful - great south German (Bavarian and BW options) and they have draft Augustiner beer (my favourite beer), quite a rarity in Berlin.It is a small place so - sometimes it is difficult to get a table and when it is packed one will have to wait (a lot...) for the food.All in all - really recommended! We are planning to go back there to try every ice-cream creation they have on their menu!We had breakfast, although it was lunch time. Perhaps that was a mistake, because we got the feeling that it was not entirely fresh. The food was very nicely served (both service-wise and appearance-wise), and most things tasted fine. It just felt a little tired, like it had been waiting the whole morning for delayed breakfast-guests...On the plus side: It's a very beautiful little café, nice staff, huge selection of breakfast and ice creams. And I am actually willing to give the breakfast another go, since I will have to go there every day for a month to try all the ice creams anyway...Worth a shot! At the moment this is the best sushi delivery place in Berlin. Sushi has always been fresh and delicious. Also the sweet and sour soup is very good. Have ordered food from here several times and always been pleased with the result. (optikalusion, 21-05-2012) 5

Don't eat here.The samosas came pretty quickly after we ordered them. Unfortunately, the pastry dough was raw inside. Totally disgusting.The food took forever to appear and was not very good. My son's chicken vindaloo had a bone in it.
