kauf dich glücklich - Prenzlauer Berg
Oderbergerstraße 44
10435 Berlin
I first came here a year ago, and happily nothing has changed: great service, lovely seating indoor and out, nice attention to detail (check lamp in men's toilet...), and some lovely waffles. The savoury goats' cheese and tomato was perfect, and really well-priced. Only one complaint, and it's a small one - whereas everything else here is something of a cheeky treat, the iced coffee is very dull. (mr_bungle, 31-05-2012)

Lucky Leek - Prenzlauer Berg
kollwitzstraße 46
10405 Berlin
If you were to judge a restaurant by the celebrity clientele that frequents it, what does it say that we were sitting but a stones throw from (in my girlfriend's words) a 'terrible actress' from the daily German soap Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten? Well, happily not much. This is excellent vegetarian food and the approach here is quality, not quantity - something to be aware of if you're particularly hungry (our two courses did, however, manage to fill us despite appearing small on the plate). The menu is small too, with perhaps three options for a main plus the special. The food itself varied between 4 & 5 stars, and while the seitan fillet failed to inspire, the lentil samosas starter more than made up for this. Overall, a really pleasant meal in a nice area, and worth the money. (mr_bungle, 31-05-2012)

st. Gaudy cafe - Prenzlauer Berg
Gaudy str. 1
10437 Berlin
This place has been an absolute lifesaver during my stay in Berlin. I've been here about 5 times in 10 days either for a full on meal or just cake and drinks. The food has been top notch every time, the staff ultra friendly, working wifi, great music, regular events and a lovely community feel.. A real gem, just brilliant. If I could I'd take these guys and the entire cafe back home with me.  (WildDogRod, 30-05-2012)

Burger Dream - Prenzlauer Berg
Danziger Str. 16
10435 Berlin
Cool little 'make your own burger' place. Lots of different burgers, toppings, dressings, fries and sides to choose from, good quality food and very reasonably priced. My only minor gripe is that they didn't have 2 out of the 5 different types of fries and also ran out of a couple of toppings. But I can't complain about what I did have. Staff were courteous and service was quick.  (WildDogRod, 29-05-2012)

eXperten-Datenrettung - Prenzlauer Berg
Datenrettung Speichermedien
10405 Berlin
(donsamuel, 29-05-2012)

The Bird - Prenzlauer Berg
Am Falkplatz 5
10437 Berlin
Please don't go here if you are vegetarian. I just went with friends because they wanted meat, and sure, The Bird has a veggie burger, but they HATE when you order it :DI don't blame them though, I would also think it was pretty stupid to go there as a vegetarian. (I'm stupid, I know)Every meat-lover loves this place. Period. Beware of the prices though. It's not exactly Berlin-average if you know what I mean. Feels like being in Stockholm. Café Hilde - Prenzlauer Berg
Metzer Strasse 22
10405 Berlin
Super-duper-lovely. I don't really have anything else to say. Someone recommended the "vegetarian breakfast" as the "healthy choice"... Well, first of all: "the vegetarian breakfast" comes with nutella... That is not my idea of "healthy" ;) Second: They have several choices for the vegetarian, not just one vegetarian breakfast - and the one I had was really, really good too!I have no complaints about this place. And the fact that they donate drinks to the homeless veggie dinners in Berlin makes it even better. Free WIFI as well. Schade, I should stop writing now, before I drag every person in the city to this place.I think it was SUPER EXPENSIVE. No way you can afford it. Better stay away from it, people. (ok that was obviously a lie. Prices fair! I think. Don't remember.) (nikiheden, 28-05-2012)

Meta - Prenzlauer Berg
Am Falkplatz 1
10437 Berlin
Walked past this place a few times and it always looked busy so thought I'd give it a try. Managed to get an outside table opposite the park which was nice. The waitress was friendly and service was quick. Not a huge selection of food on the menu but what I had (Schweineschnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln und Rahmchampignon) was tasty and good value for money. I happily recommend eating here but not sure if the limited menu means it wouldn't be a regular haunt. Overall it's probably worth 3 1/2 stars but I'm not going to be mean. Studio Motion - Prenzlauer Berg
Schoenhauser Allee 43a
10435 Berlin
Lovely place with a very friendly crew. Best thing is that all classes are in english and the teachers are from all over the world - so you can learn a lot from their unique experiance and point of view. Studio offers all kinds of dance classes from ballet, jazz and modern jazz to hip hop, salsa, flamenco and profi training for proffesional dancers. They have an offer not only for adults, but also for children. Prices are not high, so it is definitely worth to go and give it a try. What's more, there is kitchen where you can make yourself a coffee or tea and drink it with friends in the garden. Moms with children can also come and dance, while their children will be under proffesional care of Studio's baby-sitters. And if you are not too much into dancing you can still work on your body at pilates, zumba and yoga classes that are also offered by the Studio. So, if you are looking for a dance school with great atmosphere and interesting teachers - this is a place to go!
