Eine erholsame Nacht im Ruhrgebiet: Nettes, sauberes Hotel. Bin mit meinen beiden Kindern unter 12 hier gewesen. Wir bezahlten nur einen Erwachsenenpreis.( Die Kids waren kostenlos.) So war der Aufenthalt preiswert. - Allerdings bekam ich gleich einen Meldezettel unter die Nase geschoben, der wohl nur dem einzigen Zweck diente, herauszufinden, ob die Kids wirklich unter 12 sind. Das war ein bisschen ätzend, aber verständlich.Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Es war ruhig.Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und viele Speisen waren sehr lecker. Das Hotel ist gut zu erreichen. Parken ist kein Problem.Würde jederzeit wieder hier übernachten, wenn ich wieder in der Gegend bin. (ReHelm, 29-04-2012) 5

When I go to Oberhausen, I usually go there for shopping at Centro, a big shopping mall. After shopping we usually go to Wok & Roll, which is just outside the shopping mall, but now they've changed their name into Wok & Grill. It's an Asian restaurant and they have a wide variety of dishes. You can choose from Chinese, Thai, Japanese and I think even some Korean food. Cocktails are really cheap over here, every time we get here, it seems to be happy hour! The food is also very tasty and you get a quite large meal for a very affordable price. As usual and as I'd expect from an Apple Store, fantastic mood and atmosphere. Even when the shop is full of people, you don't feel crowded or lost. The staff is great and helpful. Though Germany often lacks in true customer service, all Apple Stores seem to be well audited and sets an example as a leader in Retail also in Germany without exception! (hsami, 28-11-2011) 5

Small, unimposing at first sight, but surprisingly spacious and caringly decorated place also holding a small beer garden in the back. The considerable menu also lists a great variety of different fish dishes and the prices are slightly above the average. The ordered dishes were consistently tasty - a small deduction of points results out of the use of convenience products. The gravies which came with the pepper skewer were definitely ready-to-eat barbeque sauces from the local supermarkets. Apart from this faux pas we were absolutely content. Nevertheless we will choose a different plain restaurant the next time and enjoy a completely home-made meal. The restaurants also offers budget-priced guest rooms. (kleinerkobold, 15-03-2010) 3

Very friendly staff. Very complicated checking in despite the carnival ball and the full house. Enough parking spots, good taxi connections. I'll be staying here again in the near future when I'm next in Oberhausen. I'd like to say thank-you at this point to the hotel staff for all their help on Sunday morning.
