I wife and I really enjoy the selection and pricing at Optik Kempf.  They speak great english and are very friendly.  They offer glasses, sun glasses, and contacts.  They also have a coffee machine while you wait.  The variety is second to none and I am very happy with the service and professionalism here.  (acithium, 25-05-2012) 5

Popped in by chance when we spent a day in Koblenz. Place looks great so worth a visit for the look of it alone. Nice old-fashioned wooden feel to the place. Food was good with our only complaint being too little salt. But better too little as too much I guess. Overall a good place. Food was freshly prepared and very tasty. Waited a little long given the lack of customers but the food more than made up for this. Service staff wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. What can I say? We were not expecting much but the food quality won us over. Avoid the breakfast buffet. Looked terrible. Aran is always worth a stop ! You just have to try the bread with 3 different toppings. Sitting outside in the sun with the view to the "altpörtel" makes it even better. Aran is self-serving and prices are in the higher segment, but worth it. Try it yourself. (Silk_Smooth, 17-05-2012) 4

The vineyard Mussel is right in the town centre of Wörrstadt. It's being managed eagerly by father Heinrich and son Heiko Mussel. We were particularly excited by his 2005 Wörrstadter Kachelberg Silvaner dry and took some crates home. Mrs Mussel manages a fine guest B&B in which she only accepts non-smokers.
