Rick's Bistro - Coblenz
Am Plan 22

Great baguettes, we had one with tuna and one with chicken. Both were freshly prepared and tasty. The white chocolate and coconut pancake was also yum. Nothing to complain about this place, service was quick and friendly and the prices good. (lucy_lu, 03-06-2012)

Palais - Coblenz
Firmungstr. 2

Popped in by chance when we spent a day in Koblenz. Place looks great so worth a visit for the look of it alone. Nice old-fashioned wooden feel to the place. Food was good with our only complaint being too little salt. But better too little as too much I guess. Breakfast buffet looked good and they gave us a friendly head-ups that it was coming to an end so we ordered something else from the menu. (TomasShan, 19-05-2012)

Seilbahn zur Bundesgartenschau - Coblenz
56068 Koblenz
The funicular was built to 201o and Buga. Buga ran until the end of the October 2011. She is currently undergoing maintenance and will open in March 2012. The ride on the funicular up to the Ehrenbreitstein is very impressive. Allows you to come up in a short time on the plateau fortress and the magnificent view over the Koblenz-Neuwied to enjoy the valley. An absolute must for visitors of the Middle Rhine. The best Guinness in the world is here to be had. Ask Steve to put a Shamrock in your ale with his eyes closed! Every night there is something to experience, great live music, fun Karaoke, parties, sports, terrific earthy atmosphere. You might even meet the owner and be on the receiving end of some of the worst jokes you’ve ever heard! Great selection of single malts. It’s a great place! (otello12, 07-11-2011)

Well, first of all the restaurant has a very good location; second of all, the food variety can comply all tastes and third of all, despite the styled location and the good quality of the food, the prices are not high at all. Fully recommandable! (nca1970, 28-08-2011)

Gözleme for 3,5 Eur freshly made before your eyes! very delicious! perfect for vegetarians. surely you cannot compare with the real Turkish gözleme but still... I had one with feta cheese and herbs, but I'm sure you can have another fillings too. see wiki for more info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%B6zleme You can seat outside, there is a plazza with a nice vew. Good croatian food in the heart of Koblenz City near the Train Station and Shopping Center. It is a very warm place with a holiday atmosphere and it is often very crowded, but the service was always professional. Nice panoramic view. I liked the grill fish most... (Hans Olo, 01-08-2011)

Ferraro's Factoria - Coblenz
Am Josef-Görres-Platz 6

My girlfriend and I were looking for something to eat in Koblenz and had misfortune of stumbling upon this restaurant. It was Saturday night and all other restaurants around were full but Ferraro's had tables available. Now I know why. With hindsight i should have known something wasn't right by reading the menu: all the italian words were mispelled (I am Italian). In fact the whole menu was a lazy attempt to fool you into believing you are having the "real italian" experience. The starter was gorgonzola wrapped in bresaola with some salad - i mean, when i was a student at university i cooked more elaborated plates. The pasta was overcooked beyond recognition - not even in a work canteen you find it so gluey. The meat was overcooked probably to mask the bad quality - clearly the staff doesn't even ask how you want it because it is a given a stake must be served burnt. The worst part though was the staff, rude, unattentive and one of the waiters with a really remarkable body odour. All in all, I wish i went to a doner instead (cheaper, better quality and more authentic). (Giovanni777, 26-03-2011)
