This is an interesting way to experience the Bauhaus University. The decor is nice, with good food and drink. Don't wait for someone to bring you a menu, just grab one from the bar!

Really nice Place. Really. I would kill myself if there were no Cafe Lantzsch in Dessau. My stay in Dessau without CL would by hell. Therefore: 5 stars. I mean it!

I took a train to Dessau from Berlin with a group of friends. We spent the whole day looking at Bauhaus exhibits. I was thoroughly impressed. I loved being able to walk around and experience the design live.

The Parkhotel in Dessau has, during our previous visits in the area, been the number 1 for accommodation. So far, we have purchased reasonable vouchers on eBay for two nights including breakfast. The personnel is friendly and the rooms clean. Internet is offered via a chargeable third party. During our last visit we were a bit disappointed by the outside appearance as the building's facace is by now quite dirty.

I like to go here for Christmas for the usual Christmas fairy tale performance. (Not a Pantomime) It’s just a small theatre, but not bad. Last year we saw Sleeping Beauty and it was a very nice performance. We had seats in the first row, which is really not the best place. I would recommend getting seats on the balcony instead.

This is a small mall in the middle of Dessau. There aren’t many shops, but it’s the best shopping on offer in that area. Karstadt, a large department store is also located there.
