Nicht nur das die Auswahl groß und die Portionen reißig sind: Es schmeckt auch sehr gut. Ambiente ist drinnen und draußen top, Preise sind noch akzeptabel.

Typical italian and german meals, very good, self brewed bear. To recomend is the outside area with this great view over Erfurt, especialy at night. Prices and meal sizes are okay, the taste is good.

Moved house from UK to Austria: the service was very professional and friendly, from the price/service negotiation to the actual loading and unloading, to the handling of the payment. The movers arrived exactly on time and handled everything with great care. We had prepackaged all of our furniture, but they also provided an extra layer of packaging for when each piece of furniture was fitted in the truck. At arrival, the unloading was once again efficient, punctual and done with great care. Overall, very satisifed with the service and the price.

Salat mit Ente bzw. Hähnchen und Bacon gegessen, ambitioniert und überdurchschnittlich, sehr guter Trollinger, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Stylisches, kühles Ambiente gepflegt und ordentlich. Jederzeit gern wieder!

Schöner historischer innenhof,die hausgemachten Klöße waren sehr lecker.Es wird wohl selbst Bier gebraut,dies haben wir allerdings nicht probiert

This little aquarium is a devil to find, but is a lovely little place, only charging 2 Euros entry too. There were so many beautiful fish. I wrote a whole list, but they are in German so I'll try and cut down to the ones that I found particularly amusing or interesting:

There were some piranhas. Despite their reputation, they won't generally go for humans. Of 18 sorts, only 4 are 'potentially dangerous'

Feuerschwanzfransenlipper - what I know of German makes this fish sound either rude or painful.

Blauschwanz-Nasendoktor sounds like a grossly incorrect referral from your doctor.

There were some cute monkeys outside (Liszaffchen). This is the 2nd time I have seen this kind of monkey at an aquarium. Why is this, do they have a particular affinity with the fish? There was a Rothornchen (red squirrel) too which was very cute (damn you grey squirrels).

And possibly the best toilet which I have ever used, with a self cleaning seat! Has to be seen to be believed. (And the picture below doesn’t help as you cannot see that the seat is rotating through the cleaner!)

I could probably write a few pages about this place but will try and keep it down for qype.

After seeing my old favourites, the Meerkats, near the entrance, I was sure they would be my highlight as usual. The zoo went about proving me wrong.

This zoo does a couple of walk through enclosures. The kangaroos...well, they just squat there as far away from you as they can get. But the monkeys. They see you but mostly they just get on with their business of running around and fighting even right next to you. I guess the older monkeys are used to people, but the younger ones are still curious and will climb up next to you (but will flinch/fall over/run away if you move so much as a muscle) I couldn't believe how close they came, it was unbelievable and I could not get a photo because they were so nervous.

What else was great? Well I was enjoying looking at the Rosenkopchen until I saw all the wasps sharing their fruit. I also enjoyed the unexpected fish tank in the giraffe house (random). There was a baby goat feeding area too like at Berlin Zoo. The animals don't half hassle you though..means you can't feed the cute little one.

All this for 7E entry? OK it is a bit of a trek to get out here...but well worth it.

Always recommendable no matter if you go for the buffet or "a la carte"

Modern hotel, with an excellent location just off centre (but on the infinitely preferable side of the city ring road). The room was probably the nicest I have ever stayed in in Germany..which is right, as it was also the most expensive.

The sports bar downstairs is rather nice too and a good place to watch German football.

I have to take a star away as until recently there was a fitness centre with weights on the 1st floor. It is gone now but was still mentioned on the internet and in the in-room brochure. This led to a wasted half an hour, initially searching on the 1st floor, being sent up to the 17th floor to the wellness centre (a couple of aerobic machines here), back to my room to check the brochure, before a 2nd uninterrupted sweep of the first floor before a 'dude, where's my dumbells?' yielded an explanation from the friendly receptionist (who clearly wondered why a scruff, such as myself, was staying in a primarily business hotel).

I'd look at alternatives if I went back, but would not go out of my way avoid staying here again.

Great varity! Great food! Friendly people! Came here very often. A bit off the track but stillrecommend this place.

This station looks rather grand from the outside and the inside is less hectic than most Bahnhofs. It is quite centrally located too, by no means a given.

70 cents to use the toilet. 70 CENTS. I was shocked by 30 not long ago At this rate of inflation we'll end up paying more to get rid of the food than we did to eat it in the first place.
