A lot of vegan & gluten free options in a city that doesn't have the most veggie friendly restaurants. The food was good, but not outstanding; lovely atmosphere; but definitely pricey! The food is charged by weight, and I have to say the cost adds up very quickly. Two medium sized dinner plates for my husband and me cost about 30 euro, so choose your food with caution. At those prices, I would expect the vegetarian dishes to be amazing, but they weren't. I felt I could have made a lot of it at home. Really great! Free to get in and you get a bucket of carrots to feed to the animals. Donations very much worth making (make one and you can take a can of cold drink from their fridge! Might well be needed in the hot weather...) and you can adopt an animal for a year for just 20 euros.They live on donations so please do make one. As well as donkeys and horses there are some pigs, a sheep, some very friendly cats and this summer, a whole litter of puppies that were left there.The horses and donkeys are used to provide therapy for children. Lots of people, artists and sellers. classical tourist trap, but a lot of impressions. A "have to", when u are visiting barcelona. If u want to, u can explore the streets nearby, with small shops and big market-halls. Something for everybody... (leckerlouis, 31-05-2012) 4

Pros - Authentic Spanish Bar, Free Paella on Sunday noon time, place to sit outside.Cons - None of them speak English, outside seating is in the middle of the road.This is as authentic as you can get, and the paella and beer is absolutely divine.
