The mountain of O Castro is the where the first inhabitants settled, there are remains dating from the second century. The fort that crowns the top of O Castro commands a beautifull almost ariel view of Vigo Bay, the city and the rande Straits. There are various monuments dedicated to Curros Enriquez and others including the stonemasons. There were tunnels and passageways found that connected the castle and the city. There is also a magnificent botanical garden with a water feature and fountains and also a wide variety of both native and foreign species of pines, cedars and camellias. (bigedd2004, 30-09-2011) 5

This place has the most amazing cheese, jamon, bread and wine. It is unusual for not having a kitchen, but it really doesn't matter when you have jamon as good as they do. At opening times, tables are ready with bottles of wine and food, for their loyal clinetele. The smell of this place is heavenly.
