What/Why:

Up and coming Richard Corbett, Monmouth based artist, will be exhibiting new series of paintings.

Inspired by the lush and vibrant colours of Hampstead Gardens and Groves of Olives found in Tuscany.

They are small, moody and vibrant.

This will be Richard Corbett's second London solo show. Previously seen at The Smithfield Gallery.

"This exhibition is complimentary to the Real Van Gogh The Artist and His Letters exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts, Picadilly. I have been continuously inspired by the Van Gogh s and his near Contemporaries, Monet and Renoir…and so I wish to acknowledge that.

I am very excited that I will be showing my tree paintings whilst Van Gogh’s are showing just down the road."
