What/Why:
scottychan.com presents: Busking Cancer; an event featuring Scott Bull and various other acts to help raise money for Cancer Research UK as part of their Busking Cancer campaign.
Acts confirmed so far include Scotty Chan's very own Scott Bull, a keyboardist and stand-up comedian and Barrie Miles, an electro-acoustic guitarist, as well as other acts to be confirmed.
All money raised from the event will be donated to CRUK, as will the profits raised from the sale of Official Scotty Chan merchandise.
The event also features a bar and music and you can also have your picture taken with Scott Bull and get a signed autograph, (donations welcome).
As well as all this, the "Pay It Forward" organisation has provided the event with some rubber bracelets, so be sure to check these out too.
Tickets are available now from http://scottychan.com/gigs.aspx and from Scott Bull himself as well as selected retailers in the Southend-On-Sea area, (listed below).
Tickets are only £5, (£6 including postage if bought from the Official Scotty Chan website), seating and tables are provided at the event.
Note: We're also looking for support acts for the event, as well as raffle prizes and donations to help fund the event and also advertising, if you can help out with any of this, please visit http://scottychan.com and contact Scott Bull.

Heh, I just realised you could review past events, so let’s go at it.
Obviously, I’d give this 5 stars, but let me explain how things went down.
Whilst we didn’t get the full capacity of the hall filled up, we did get a pretty decent number attending.
It actually took a fair bit of time to set up and run the soundchecks, and we’d just finished by the time people were arriving, which was around 20:15, (so we just put some background music on).
First up was my warm-up act, an electro-acoustic guitarist who is the very embodiment of a true busker, complete with almost swallowing the microphone; we then had a short interval before I took the stage and played several songs on the keyboard, after which there was another break, I then performed some stand-up comedy, and after another short break, there was a raffle and then some closing statements.
The entire duration of the gig was just over 2 hours and most of the people seemed to be enjoying it, which I was grateful for.
Most importantly though, we raised some money for a worthy charity, and I’m currently working on gaining funds for another charity event for Guide Dogs For The Blind UK.
I’d like to thank everyone who attended the event, and also the people who helped me out.

RyanHollingworth I'm going and helping Scott out with "roadie" work, good luck with the gig mate.
