As December nears its end, Filth bring you the long awaited Leeds debut of Rejected Records boss and Dutch techno champion Joris Voorn along with plenty more talent across the Warehouse’s two rooms on Saturday 23rd.
The slant of Voorn and his Rejected label has always been deep house and techno and the quality levels have never waned with people like Deetron, Nic Fanciulli and Steve Mac all appearing on the label along side the boss himself. Voorn is also most celebrated for his peerless entry in the double CD Balance mix series, genre defining EPs and albums and residency at Ibiza’s foremost club, Space, so is a revered talent indeed to grace the Warehouse – it’s almost unbelievable the man has never played in Leeds before!
Joining the two on the night will be talented resident spinner Luke Pompey who has recently started his own cultured house label, Love Not Money, and Hot Since 82 – the most recent star to emerge and top Beaport’s house chart.
Closing out the party at the newly kitted out and already legendary club Warehouse will be King Tut & The Wookie whilst the cosier second Loft space is to be hosted by crazier than cool local deep house crew Nest.
