This month we welcome back to Floripa’s ample Brazilian bosom the spirit-lifting festival favourites WALSH & POUND (http://www.walshandpound.co.uk/) – a banjo-playing harmonica-blowing duo who are setting the folk scene alight.
Joining them is THE HISTORY OF APPLE PIE (http://www.thehistoryofapplepie.com/) with their laid-back summery sounds, and the beautifully whimsical and soulful tones of SHEA SEGAR (http://www.sheaseger.com/).
As always there will be surprise guests (over the last year or so they’ve included a who’s who of British music including Paloma Faith, William Orbit, Katie Melua, Gary Kemp, Example, Beverly Knight, Mark Ronson, The Noisettes and last month’s mind blowing 24 piece Orchestra!)
Spring is finally here so allow us to gently coax you out of your hibernation and slap you in the face with 21st century cabaret fun.
Originally set up by Guy Chambers as, ‘a night which I can invite all my mates to,’ The Orgasmatron has swiftly become the club night to be seen at, offering a psychedelic concoction of live music from mixed genres, dancers, DJs, orchestras, burlesquers and ceiling swingers.
Forget The Box, those in the know are revelling in unique performances and the delightfully unexpected in the Orgasmatron’s suitably colourful home Floripa in Shoreditch.
Next Orgasmatron: May 31st at Floripa (indoors and on the terrace)
