What/Why:
Singer and multi-instrumentalist Paul Vialard performs with heart and passion a wide repertoire of French chansons in an intimate yet theatrical way.
A graduate from Rennes’ National Conservatory of Music and from the Royal College of Music in London, French baritone, songwriter, guitarist, cellist, flute player and pianist Paul Vialard also trained as an actor and a clown. Although a London resident for the five past years, he has performed wherever his path led him: from his hometown of Rennes all the way to Seattle in the United States, via Paris, Amsterdam and the Azores, he has developed his own personal style and repertoire of classical French chansons.
At Toulouse Lautrec, he occasionally pairs up with talented accordionist Mario Lee and virtuoso pianist Valentin Barray, to present his own compositions that will take you through his strange and enchanting universe.
