What/Why:
“A big full sound, not unlike Filter, Helmet or even Tool in places”– NZ Musician Magazine
Touring with major international rock artists likeDisturbed, Alter Bridge and P.O.D. when the ‘Music as a Weapon’ tour came to New Zealand in September 2008 proved REDLINE could hold their own with the best of them.
REDLINE are no strangers to high profile touring supporting Evanescence in 2007, Disturbed again prior in 2006 and performing at the Metal Day Out festival that also featured Flatline from USA and Illdisposed from Denmark that same year.
“Shithot rock entertained the Hydrant last night with headliners ‘Black State Highway’ encouraging immense head-banging and shoulder-thrusting from the crowd”
Black State Highway are a five piece Rock band from Brighton. Influenced by such bands as ACDC, Rage Against The Machines, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath Black State Highways hard hitting riffs, powerful vocals and a heavy back line are not to be missed.
“Anyone who has seen this band in any south london or north kent venue will testify to witnessing a riotous response.” Erith 5-piece Internal Skars may be self-proclaimed skrap metallers but an alternative-punk edge is ever present on all tracks on debut album ‘Skrap Metal’. Anyone who has seen the band in any South East London or North Kent venue will testify to witnessing a riotous response to their live sets, but here they bring together twelve well constructed songs which never outstay their welcome.
