Join us for a fascinating day of discovery as we delve into the fabulous world of upholstery.

Professional upholsterer, Rachael South will show how to use all the specialist tools to unpick and take apart a worn panelled seat or while chair and how to recover a chair seat to transform your tired furniture into raving beauties.

In this practical course, there will be plenty of time for unpicking, nailing, padding and a demo of web stretching. Bring photos of furniture to ask questions as we dont want you having to lug armchairs around town but feel free to bring your own project to unpick and learn from.

If you have admired padded headboards in glossy magazines and wondered how to make one for yourself, this one day course will de mystify the process and instil confidence to tackle your designer bed head.

All tools and materials will be provided as well as chair seats to practice on.
