Dave Evans - The Original AC/DC Vocalist - Live Rock 'n' Roll on the Wirral!, Revolver, Wirral

What/Why:

In 1972 Dave was recruited to form a new band with Malcolm Young, Colin Burgess and Larry van Kriedt – a week later Malcolm’s younger brother Angus joined. Malcolm and Angus’ sister-in-law Sandra came up with the name AC/DC – to signify power and energy – and so one of the greatest rock and roll bands ever was born!
Since leaving AC/DC, Dave has been part of may different projects and performed in the UK, Europe and the USA as a solo artist.

In 2008 Dave Evans signed his album “JUDGEMENT DAY” to German Label STF Records and then on Rocksector Records in the UK. The album has received great reviews throughout Europe and is quintessential hard driving classic rock loved the world over.
Judgement Day followed the release of Sinner which was widely regarded as a modern day rock and roll masterpiece. The album has achieved many nominations with more to follow. The track " Sold my Soul to Rock and Roll " was nominated at the LA Music Awards for best rock song.

In the USA Dave was called the “King Of All Badasses” by fans after witnessing his hardedged Aussie Rock and the UK Press called him “Rockadile Dundee” after one of his first performances on his recent UK Tour.
