What/Why:

The Festival of the Erotic Arts is a unique showcase event dedicated to the multi-disciplinary art forms which make up the Erotic Arts.

The event aims to create an environment to view art and performance rarely seen in mainstream galleries or theaters and a unique setting in which we celebrate the multi-disciplinary nature of the Erotic Arts.

From the music hall stages to strip clubs, Gypsy Charms (Dr. Sarah Vernon) takes you on a bodice-ripping journey through the history of striptease. Starting with bawdy burlesques and finishing in the ‘pubic triangle’ Gypsy charts the controversial development of striptease-based entertainment (SBE) with a wink, a nudge and (invariably) some saucy noises.
