What/Why:

Wideboy Generation are Joe (vocals/guitar), Aid (bass/vocals) and Jamie (drums). They’re 19, from the North London suburbs and have rocked over 150 live gigs in the past 9 months, putting in the slog that’s got them labelled as the tightest new guitar band in Britain. They write their own songs. They’re red-blooded rock ‘n’ rollers. They’ve also packed in working on building sites to record with music industry legend John Cornfield (Stone Roses, Oasis, Cast, Muse, The Verve) and they’re about to hit 2012 with the full force of unbridled British youth at play.

Amir is an incredible talent. His soulful voice, stunning original songs, and soaring guitar playing have entertained packed audiences at several of London’s most established venues, including the Troubadour and the legendary 100 Club.

Advice from a Caterpillar are a Pop-Rock/Melodromatic Folk band from Manchester, UK. The group formed in Spring 2011 from a mutual committed ambition to seriously pursue a career in songwriting and to push the conventions of modern music. the five-piece combine elements of ambience and folk (inspired by the likes of Bon Iver, Bright Eyes and City and Colour) with catchy melodic, pop hooks (in the same vein as The Beach Boys, Jimmy Eat World, Nizolpi) to create a unique and intense sound.

Hot Wax sound is a blend of classic rock riffery and chiming melodically-driven songwriting, borrowing elements of soul, Rhythm & Blues and folk to create a contemporary, yet warm and familiar alternative rock sound.

South Londoner Finn Bonel writes songs from the depths of his rustic soul and permeates them with a unique and authentic vocal. In a modern day pop world of glitz and glamour, Finn’s primary concern is to block out the dazzle and wrench the hearts of listeners as he pours his own raw emotion into heartfelt lyrics and entrancing melodies.
