What/Why:

Improve your technical knowledge of cameras and photography in easy-to-understand language, with the emphasis on learning by using your camera.

Learn about photo composition, shutter speed, aperture, lighting and indoor/outdoor work.

Using classroom based theory, practical exercises and optional homework assignments, each participant will learn how to fully operate their digital camera and understand the fundamentals of photography.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
For those who have a grasp of the basic functions of a digital SLR camera or the equivalent compact camera and wish to learn more and improve their photography.

Please bring your own camera preferably a DSLR.
