dmj1962 21-09-2007, 12:40: Hardly original, but view - or should that be views? - from the ‘London Eye’ at night is unique.

Other view: from Waterloo bridge, towards the City, for the classic view of St Paul’s cathedral.
shopaholic 21-09-2007, 13:16: A personal favourite: if you are lucky to have a really sweet pilot and you are circling to wait for your landing slot at Heathrow. I once got the most amazing views of London!
Puzzler 03-04-2008, 17:01: The view from The Heights Bar on the 15th floor of the Saint Georges Hotel at the top of Regents Street is rather pleasant - especially on Bonfire Night.

mrbluesky 06-04-2008, 19:03: One of the best Views is from the Bar in Tower 42. 600 feet above The City. You need to reserve to go there for a drink..But the lift only stops at the top floor…Watch it on the way down…
