2. A Smoking (Toxedo for you american friends)
3. Shirts with cuffs and cuff links
4. A Tie with diagonal stripes
5. A Pair of Brogues
6. A Pair of Chelsay Boots
7. Leather Gloves
9. A pure wool Coat
7. A good Watch (preferable something swiss, Patek Phillipe, ...)
8. A Singet Ring, best with your family crest
9. A Fountain Pen (recommend Mont Blanc Meisterstück)
10. A good Knife
11. A respectable Librabry
12. A subscrition to an Art Magazine
13. A collection of classic and classical Music

A couple more incredibly important things:
1. a beautifully crafted bespoke shirt
2. Pantherella or Scott Nichol socks
3. A fine heavyweight overcoat

- Matches/lighter on their person at all times—man without fire is not man
- Some method of breath freshener—preferably not uncouth chewing gum or noisy tic tacs
- An Uh-uh-uh umbrella -ella -ella -ella
- A very sharp pocket knife and a Kyocera ceramic chef’s knife
- A private space, ideally one with many leather-bound books
- A safe deposit box
- A set of at least two Waterford or Spiegelau crystal glasses
- Proper travel luggage in good repair
- A hip flask
- Comfortable bathrobe(s)
- Grooming Kit (hands, feet, nose & ears)
- Shaving Kit/Beard Trimmer
- Handkerchiefs
- Cigarette box (if smoker)

Of course a place of one’s own is a pre-requisite. If a residence is unavailable, a good hotel in St James/Haymarket/Picadilly will suffice.

I would like to expand on two areas and add a third.
- Umbrella: The Polite Umbrella by Joo Youn Paek is quite stunning.
- Luggage: Including, but not limited to, a fine leather Saddleback
  and finally a gentlemen always has an abundance of:
- High quality Black Socks - a sock subscription service is highly recommended.
