The cost of a pint poll (http://www.qype.co.uk/polls/41) got me thinking…
...what’s the most expensive bit of booze you’ve ever bought?
I think mine would have to be in one of those ‘business hotels’ in Europe somewhere, where everyone’s on expense account anyway so they don’t care and the hotel can charge 50 Euros plus your first born child for one of those not-quite-a-pint-sized glasses of European lager.

Oh my days. No wonder continential europe have a more moderate approach to drinking… we need to spread the word about the sainsbury’s super saver lager at 23p a can:

Those are some very scary prices indeed.
Four of us went to a bar in Geneva and without looking at the prices ordered 4 drinks-3 doubles with a mixer and a beer-bill was …...........................180 euros
I hope you stole the glasses at the very least, if not the table and chairs!
Probably about £20-something for 1 glass of Taittinger champagne (it was my birthday).
