    Hi Rachelle,

My food blog is The London Foodie (http://www.thelondonfoodie.co.uk), I am a big fan of Vietnamese food, I have reviewed Song Que, and recently I was invited to review Viet Grill, both on Kingsland Road. I will be posting the latter review later this week. I have also reviewed "Miss Saigon" evening at Fernandez and Leluu, as well as Banh Mi11 on Broadway Market for their delicious banh mi sandwiches.

I am also going to Vietnam for nearly 3 weeks on 10 February 2010 and will be eating my way through that nation from Hanoi to Saigon. I would love to be able to attend this event, and review Pho.

    Thanks.

Would seriously like to go to this event - love pho to the extent that I have tried making it, not entirely successfully - at home. Be great to learn the secrets...

yes please. 2 spots if you have it

  • 4 February 2010

    hi there,

travelswithmyfork would love to attend. we've been to a couple of other qype food blogging events -- the wahaca autumn menu tasting, and also the talisker tasting and burns night. both were reviewed on our blog: http://travelswithmyfork.blogspot.com

it's uncanny that this event is about vietnamese food as the next meet-up of the london cooking club (which me and thelondonfoodie have been collaborating on) will be all about vietnamese food.

we promise a good write up and fantastic photos should we be chosen to atten this one.

    thanks!

    Hiya!

Would love a spot (or two) for this event. I'm a big fan of Vietnamese food, having visited the Pho near oxford circus more than once a month on a regular basis!

I run the London Insider blog (http://www.london-insider.co.uk ) and would absolutely love to write a review about Pho. My blog also has a focus on good food at reasonable prices - a category that Pho fits very well into!

Clearly, Luiz is a given. Seriously, I don't think you can find a better participant.

Personally I would love to attend. Partly because I love pho (hey, I have the Twitter background to prove it ;) and partly because I am sure there will be some great food bloggers whose blogs I have been following for ages in attendance and I would love to meet them in a setting involving some of my favourite food.

My personal blog is http://tummyrumble.hultberg.org where I mostly post recipes, cooking and restaurant experiences. Professionally I work with restaurants and marketing at Livebookings, and as such perhaps I can bring an interesting perspective to the evening.

    Would love to come visit.

Back in the US, I would eat Pho, summer rolls and fried sweet potato and prawns weekly with a group of friends. It is something I miss very much. I have reviewed a few of the establishments around Kingsland/Old Street and am still searching for the ultimate bowl of Pho. I admit that I am particular about the details!

I write http://dearlondontown.com, which is about life in London -- and the things I see, do, try and consume. I'm not specifically a 'foodie' blogger. I'm just someone who loves to learn and try new things and record them -- especially food things.

I'd love to go as I love Vietnamese cuisine and my blog has a noodle theme which is what this event is all about ! I'm also quite fussy about Vietnamese and Oriental/Asian cuisine in general and frankly I'm sceptical about places like Pho - that's why I think it'll be good to have my preconceptions and prejudices challenged.

I'd love to get to know _Pho _ from the inside and feature its wonders on my blog: "http://lifefromtheedge.blogspot.com" (Although the blog isn't solely food-focused, it also encompasses travel and often includes favourite food discoveries. Thanks! :)

I'm chiming in late here but would dearly LOVE to go to this event, mainly because I've just started a Vietnam series on my travel/ food blog, the second post of which is a review of Viet Grill. Having spent (not enough) time in Vietnam, this country and its culture got under my skin. This event would add yet more background to the food slant of my posts about Vietnam and give some variety to the types of posts included in the series. I would be ever grateful... http://epicurienne.wordpress.com and would obviously write a thorough post about the event.
I also love to cook so would be fascinated to learn tips and secrets behind making a perfect bowl of Pho!

Thanks for all the entries guys- obviously this event is still a little way off, so myself and Pho will be reading through the blogs and finding the best people to cover the event- will keep you posted :)
