Can afternoon tea ever be manly?

The Mandeville hotel is offering ‘afternoon tea for men’ including steak sandwiches, chocolate cheesecake and jing vanilla tea (and 15 year old whiskey if you pay a bit extra).

What do you reckon? Can afternoon tea ever be manly? Would you invite your mates to tea and scones as an alternative to the boozer?

errr…tea manly? Hahaha. Only Boba tea or iced tea.

Although I guess for tradition sake, it is still somewhat fashionable. Scones are for coffee these days. I don’t know why it would go together.
