Liron Admin 05-05-2008, 10:01: Sorry for the grim answer, but as far as I am aware, there are currently no “mainstream” cinemas in Hamburg which screen recent and current films in their original language. Grindel was the only one.
MattA 24-05-2008, 21:35: We are all saved!! (Well at least the Expats wishing for English movies!) I recently learned of this place last week. And got to experience it yesterday.

All I can say is “fantastic”. And get over there. Could’nt be easier to get too!

HamburgEnglish 24-06-2008, 14:46: But Streit’s only shows English movies on Monday evenings, right? So, don’t hamper off and find it isn’t Monday. And there is a couple of other theaters that show some films in English http://hamburg.stadtus.de/kino/kinoprogramm.html look out for OMU (original language with subtitles) most films are originally in English.
