I think that the Vodka Revolution in glasgow is the best place for any cocktail that has vodka in it,they have so many different flavours and so many cocktails to choose from

The Voodoo Rooms does some pretty spectacular cocktails, including a couple that involve the use of a blowtorch!

oh you must go to the villager! or dragonfly in the west port….also bar khol….just stay away from my highland toffee vodka, not that dooleys nonsense but proper toffee vodka..mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I love 2 bars in Edinburgh for cocktails. 1. Bramble - 16A Queen Street, (in the basement). 2. Tonic - 34a North Castle Street. Both are small intimate bars which I like for sipping the odd cocktail.
Bramble is quaintly subterranean, with it’s dark nooks and crannies, making the atmosphere really comfortable and cosy. Try a lavender martini served in a cute teacup with a long stem. They have a new website coming soon.
Tonic has just had a refurbishment and a change of staff. The new menu is available in August I think. They are reintroducing some old favourites and some twists on the classics. I love that they use huge blocks of ice instead of small ice cubes that melt too quickly and water down your drink (can’t have that!) - instead it just keeps your glass beautifully chilled. They also infuse their own syrups and flavoured spirits making their drinks unique. The food’s good too.

Yeah we’re staying until the Saturday so we might have to see what Edinburgh has to offer on the Friday night. But the party is tonight…which reminds me, I should really go and catch my train!
