I’ve got some American friends coming to stay and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for places to take them!

Gallery = Tate Britain – the food there is also good
Parks = Holland Park (the Kyoto Gardens are great ) = No contest best park in London
Places = Highgate Village and Hampstead Heath
Swimming in the hot sun = Highgate / Hampstead ponds
….and a river trip on Thames Clippers from Westminister pier £12 for a whole day jump on jump off all the way up to the Thames barrier (discount for Oyster card holders)

    Lovely!!

Oh they’re not coming until next month!

I’ve never been to Holland park – I feel I’ve missed out now! And swimming in the ponds – fingers crossed the weather is like this when they arrive and not the usual “Great British Summer”.

Thanks so much for your help!

Let me know if there’s anything else that you think of!
