I had a pasta dish with chicken and shrimp in it. Was horrible with a weird taste and not a lot of chicken or shrimp. Service was pleasant enough. Weirdly enough they give 10% to westerners…!

Food good as is the coffee. Service is good apart from the incredible pushiness which is really nauseating – you place the order but the waiters still don’t stop asking if you want water, bread basket, omelette and all manner of spurious things. And it did not finish even when we ordered the bill – we were asked, obliged almost, if we wanted anything to take away! Come on guys, there is a fine line between good service and annoying service, but this takes annoying to new levels. Service should be quietly efficient and certainly not pushy – I am old enough to read and I don’t need some waiter making really bizarre suggestions from a menu he clearly did not know much about. Shame because I like the food, the coffee is great and location is ok too. If the staff toned down a bit I would give this place 5 stars.

Cracking hotel, where the best features are the massive rooms, huge beds and TVs bigger than me (though you’d be hard pushed to find a programme in English!). The air conditioning is a bonus, though you have to remember to turn it off before you go to sleep or you’ll end up freezing and drying yourself out by morning. Strangely, though the bathrooms are good too, they have pretty uncomfortable toilet seats…

The staff are very friendly, and the food here isn’t bad either in their top floor restaurant overlooking the city. I had steak with chips and a mushroom sauce which was fantastic, and my friend had a spaghetti bolognaise which was ‘bad, but surprisingly also the best he’s ever tasted!’ Unfortunately they had taken the sweet and sour chicken off the menu, but I was reliably informed it was the best sweet and sour ever. Sadly I’ll probably not be able to test that theory in the future though!

Great building, when dining here it feels like your on a ship the only problem I experienced was the smoke from shisha (waterpipe) smokers as it's a very closed environment.

Great location, connected to the luxurious Salhiya mall.

Nice hotel location with a beautiful beach front and gym. Close to a great restaurant strip-mall. Full of life and people!

Not a tourist attraction!

Great hotel, beachfront, with descent facilities. The only problem is the smell of the beach!! Horrible sulphur smell from the sewage plant leak in Mishref.

Surely Kuwait's premier hotel. Pretty much close to everything you need to do. The traffic is a pain in the a.. given the construction of the first ring road in front of the hotel.

Great for tourists, beautiful views of Kuwait. The food is OK- nothing special but a wide selection nonetheless. Again, best with the foreigners.

Been there at least 4x by now. Quite tourist friendly, also for women. Its a relief to know that as a single traveler lady, I dont have to put extra clothes or accessories during my stay and stop over.

The Airport itself is quite big regarding this very tiny country. And very modern as well. The staffs are very helpful, just everywhere from the gate, shops til the Restrooms.

Too bad the choice of the stores (n their goods) are very limited. Tip: if you buy postcards at the duty free and hand them at the cashier, extra stamps arent required at all.
