Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein - Vaduz

First thing, you got to pass a great black door, the architecture of the building ist quite sober but at the same time cool and elegant. The time I visited the museum (september 2009), they showed a great collection of horse-themed art work and paintings from the collection of the royal family. The temporary exhibition as well as a different collection in a different room in the museum was quite nice too (Boltanski, impressive installations, paintings, sculptures...) There is also a kind of very modern restaurant integrated to the museum which serves I think asian food. You can also just drink something there. I just write this as an information but I can not say more, because I didn't test it. But people sittimg there seemed satisfied, if I may say this. The shop is nice too. (Gingka, 14-09-2009)

Ville de Vaduz - Vaduz
Vaduz
The first time I was in Vaduz, we just passed with the car to have a glimpse of the town but we hardly got to know it. Second run, we stayed there 2 nights and started to get acquainted with it. And now I would recommend it. It's small but nice. There are different restaurants and bars, for different types of guests I would say (I mean price range!). People are very friendly and the renowned modern art museum has a very nice collection. (Gingka, 13-09-2009)

Schloss Vaduz - Vaduz

Very beautiful castle, even if I was not in it, as it is not open to visitors or tourists. But you can very well see the great castle from Vaduz centre. We loved the view of it from it's feet already. Personnally, I kind of like the idea that the Liechtenstein royals really live there. In other countries the castle one can visit, is sometimes more of an official home to royals than their actual home. But everyone as he likes or can. Honestly, who would like to have tourists in one's house. Those who want to see luxury or castle-like inving in other places. I am happy that these things exist. (Gingka, 13-09-2009)
