Yes, the ale is cheap. Yes, they have some guests. Yes, the clientèle are an amusing mix of chavs and alcoholics - which makes for fun chat! But, it's...” more...

Anyway, it's a very nice place frequented by the fellows of the mathematics department at UCL, so you'll never be short of a spot of vortex-chat over a pint of special. The...” more...

I like the interior... pokey corners, wood paneling... open fires. It's also quite big. Sadly they don't have any hand pumped ales here, which is a real shame, as...” more...

Slightly hidden in the mews, you won't stumble across it unless you know, which means the crowd is locals, lecturers, and students. The landlady is a particularly nice Irish girl who always will attempt to fit...” more...

This one always looks a bit tired and dirty, but if you don't know what the 'spoons are then learn it. Cheap drinks, ales, regulation lagers,...” more...

Just add on pubs along the way in between holborn and the outliers, 11 is clearly too few anyway. And I think you should select pubs on the basis of the pubs marked on the map forming the shape of santa claus. then even aliens flying past in their UFOs would know there was a christmas pub crawl happening
