Woodhall Spa
Woodhall Spa is where I grew up. There used to be a big poster outside the Post Office that said 'Retiring? Move to WOODHALL SPA!' because that is what old people do. They live in Woodhall Spa. And they play golf and have lunch at the Melrose Tea Rooms and go to the Conservative Club for the pub quiz.
If you aren't retired, there's still plenty to keep you occupied. Lincoln is only 16 miles away or something, Boston is 13, Skeggy is 25 - the world is your oyster! Or if you're actually not venturing out the village, here is what I'd suggest you do with your day:
09:00 Go to what used to be Forbuoys for a paper
10:00 If it's summer, have a fry up at the Jubilee Park cafe (mmm)
11:00 Go for a swim at Jubilee Park (again, if it's summer. If it's not, go to Bainland Park as the pool there is indoors)
13:00 Get a ham roll from The Bakery and eat it outside Smarties Wine Bar with a cool refreshing pint
14:00 Buy some penny sweets from the Video Shop and eat them going round the Cottage Museum
16:00 Have afternoon tea at the Petwood Hotel
18:00 Watch a film at the Kinema in the Woods
21:00 Get yourself a tasty chinese at the Golden Dragon (and say hello to Queenie and Simon from me and tell them no I'm not married yet)
23:00 Catch last orders at The Mall on your way home
Lovely.
