Once a proper workers caf this place has just had a facelift and looks more like an old school diner. Haven’t had the chance to pop in yet but it looks nice and cosy from the outside and rally inviting.

Er, should be renamed concrete way. Not the prettiest pathway ever, where are the green bits?

On the plus side it’s a fairly long stretch so it’s alright for a bike ride.

There's a reason this place always has a queue.

    Perfect little coffee shop.

Great coffee, big selection of other drinks, nice people, free wifi, loads of papers and magazines lying around to read, comfy sofas, great music - always something different playing, yummy food and really chilled out.

Now I don't generally enjoy a trip to the hairdressers, in fact I find it incredibly boring and it's one of the things I hate most in the world, that's why this place was such a treasured find...

It's a boutique style hairdressers in a listed building on Commercial St. Inside the decor is quirky yet gorgeous (check out the all gold hairwashing room) and overall it's veeery few places I've been able to relax whilst having my hair done.

You can chose to have other beauty treatments done while you're waiting and sup the free cocktails as they cut. Most thankfully tho, the stylists are happy to leave you alone if you prefer to read not chat about where you're going on holiday. The whole experience is really chilled out, plus they give amazing head massages.

It goes without saying the cut/colouring is amazing, otherwise ultimately I wouldn't go there. The only down side is that it's certainly not cheap. Personally though, I'd rather pay a bit extra and try to enjoy the trip rather than dread it.
