This place does amazing Fish & Chips. Great friendly service, top quality food prepared quickly so no waiting around - great prices. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Definatly one of the BEST fish & chip shops around.

The quality of goods is as high as anyway else but a cut of the cost.

Peacocks is a great value clothing store, with the latest trends and fashions always in stock aswell as amazing sales on last seasons clothing.

Primark is excellent, a nice big store stocked with lots of bargains - always has the latests fashions and new trends in stock for remarkably low prices. It stocks allsorts from mens and ladies wear to childrends clothing.

The underwear is amazing value, quality as high as ann summers but for upto 3 times less in price. The store can look abit like a jumble sale at times but ads to the fun of having a rummage for a bargain, staff are polite and always busy restocking hangers and adding new offers!!

The Gangsters Pool room is a teenagers delight. I havent been there in a long time but used to be there on a regular basis - even after the huge long treck up the what seemed million of steps it has a good atmosphere with a nice bar and lots of pool tables. Also has music and fair sized toilets. Its a nice place to chill with friends and have a giggle.

The magic roundabout is pure evil, ok so you would think its fairly simple everyone knows the basics of roundabout knowledge so surely it could take some common sense yet so many people have no idea what to do or where to go which is why it makes driving it so intimidating.

Its very confusing, but arrows clearly indicate which way and where you should be going its when buses are coming straight for you that it begins to get scary.

My other half will not even drive it, will avoid it at all costs even if it adds 10 minutes to the journey.

Wilkinsons is great, everything you could want or need in one shop. I have often found myself popping in for something but cannot walk away without some bargains, the prices are excellent and often have a great deals. Things you actually want and need aswell unlike some shops which only offer things you dont really want but buy as they are on offer.

They sell everything you could need, first is beauty products from make up to hair dye, cleaning stuff, bedroom furniture and paint, food, childrens toys, photo frames, books, fake christmas tree’s, perfect gifts, gazebos and garden furniture.

They only do baskets, which you will end up filling to the brim with complete bargins, the shop is well laid out and easy to navigate, staff are never very far away and always on hand to help.

Halfords is out of town, its a fair sized shop which stocks all sorts of motoring and camping goods. There is a large car park so you havent got far to walk and is surrounding by other great shops, there is also a car wash right next door.

However, i cannot ever seem to find someone willing to help and always get passed from staff member to staff member none of them being any use to me and unable to answer my general questions.

The John Russell Fox has a great menu and some great deals. Everything is actually very reasonably priced, have stopped a few times whilst shopping. However i did find what with the alcoholic drink offers you get a lot of drunk lads in there who can be loud, and rather rude! So not nice if your trying to have a quite drink. Since the no smoking law you always get a huge crowd of smokers standing right outside the door at the weekends making it harder to get in and out at ease.

There are tables outside which is good aslong as the weather is nice, be prepared to have a fair wait for food and drinks.
