Just had a chow mein and it was by far the worst I have ever had. Luke warm and dry. Also had chips which were undercooked and hard. The meal was ready in about 3 minutes which isn't enough time to cook anything properly. It looks like a lovely clean modern place but I will never be back. Disgusting!!

Update, on the 20th May, I was contacted by LL asking me to remove my reviews. They claimed that they had refunded everyone who’d had problems with them like I had. Unfortunately, it seems that this was not entirely true.

There were many more bad reviews here before but it seems that they have been able to convince some people to remove their reviews but my review is here as a warning to others

I see Lancashire Living are giving refunds now that Trading Standards have finally started doing what they are paid for (But only because the local MP has given them a boot….).

I hope Trading Standards don’t try to take the easy option and let them off with a slap on the wrist. We need to keep our boot on their neck to make sure they prosecute them for what they’ve done.

Ordered a sofa on the 2nd Nov. Was told it would be delivered the next week. After chasing them up for 8 weeks I was sent a second hand sofa. My demands for a refund fell on deaf ears so I had to claim back through my credit card.

I strongly advise you buy elsewhere.

kristanthomas hi danes73 & oswestry. im having exackly the same problem myself with this terrible company. im to going through the process of taking them to court.
after 7 months and no end of excuses from lancashire living ive sent off the recorded delivery that trading standards told me to do and now i have to wait 30 days before i can proceed any further with taking them to court.

originally they were supposed to take a £990 deposit for the settee but steve took it twice so they now owe me £1980

they have sent me an email saying that they have been the victim of a theft regarding the settee(another excuse) and have offered me a refund of £100 a week for the next 20 weeks!!!
THIS COMPANY IS A DISGRACE. I WOULDNT EVEN BUY A NEWSPAPER OFF THIS COMPANY NEVER MIND JUST HANDING OVER YOUR CARD DETAILS.
