The Collection - Chelsea
264 Brompton Road, South Kensington, London SW3 2AS

We had a social afterwork here with around 15 – 20 people and it was really nice!
I really liked the place, the design is gorgeous, there are Dixon lamps all around (Im a big fan of all of them), the entrance corridor is quite funny as well, the staff is welcoming, music was good too!
I had a look at the menu and meet the chef – the diner food looks really good, they do fresh bread (Wwow), import their product directly from Italy and I would love to taste their entire menu… We had some lovely nibbles like mini burgers, chicken croquetas etc… and everything was very very tasty!!
It seems to be expensive but looking at the quality of the food and the place I think it’s worth it (if you can afford ☺)
I’ll definitely come back on a weekend night!
Anne Hunt Hi guys. You are still jumping for joy which is good to see. The Collection is great and tasty and one simply drools at the mere mention. Definitely have to have a great uncle along for the ride who won’t mind footing the bill.

The Great Thai Cafe - Fitzrovia
57 Great Portland Street, London W1W 7LH

Really cool for a quick and cheap lunch in central & it’s proper thai food, well spicy and everything!
I’ve tried the Pad Thai and the Green curry and I recommend them, they are really good.
Raoul's Cafe - Notting Hill
105 Talbot Road, Notting Hill, London W11 2AT
26-08-2011
I was a bit disappointed when I visit Raouls Cafe for a brunch with my cousin last weekend.
I must say the quality of the food is very good, the eggs are, as repeated in many reviews below, incredibly yellow and delicious…but but but I didn’t like the atmosphere at all.
The staff are not friendly, it’s like they are trying to pretend to be the best brunch in London, with the best eggs & so they look very snob! Prices are align with this attitude with 8£+ for a brunch not really big & minimum 4 for a drink…
It’s not bad at the end but there are a lot of brunch places in the area that are much better!!
The Chamberlayne - Queens Park
83 Chamberlayne Road, Queen's Park, London NW10 3ND

(updated on 15-08-2011)
Chamberlayne Pub is a great pub that serves good food & wine! The outside area is very pleasant during summer, I had the habit to stay their several night per week, chilling with friends! Anyway, you will not cross the whole london to come there but if you are living around Queen’s Park & Kensal Rise it’s definitely a place to go!
Editing my review after few months – adding a star!!
Food is really good, especially meat but also all the tradi british food! Really coool place
William IV - Ladbroke Grove

This pub deserve a visit for their garden! The drinks are average price – there’s an happy hour for 5 to 8! The atmosphere inside is not amazing, just normal, there no real mood and people are all age but it next street from my house so I’ll keep visit them from time to time, for the garden!!!! A Yeah, their menu looks very very good but I’ve never tried it out … but will soon I hope!!!
93 Feet East - Whitechapel
150 Brick Lane, Shoreditch, London E1 6RU
01-07-2011
Proper East London / Brick lane venue, great courtyard with lots of tables, cool urban art inside...
The Qype Summer Party was hosted there and it was really nice!
They also do big Sunday afternoon parties which are really great but never free...
3 stars only because the girls toilets are disgusting, really.
I would say it's a cliche of east london venue so you can have a go but definitely not my favourite place in Shoreditch!
The Bake At Home Pizza Company - Fulham
827 Fulham Road, London SW65HG
01-07-2011
The Bake at Home Pizza crew had a huge success at the Qype Summer Party last wednesday, I can't count how many time I've heard people saying 'the pizza there are sooo delicious' 'absolutely amazing'...
I had the chance to try the goat's cheese which was, indeed, sooooo delicious just very tasty and perfectly crispy, all I like!!
They have an amazing concept: delivering already baked but not cooked pizza to your door... yeah that works, I like it!
It was also so great to see Joshua and his team preparing all this with a huge smile on their face and having so much fun preparing pizzas!!
I already give 5 stars for the pizza because they really deserve it and I will give a try very soon to the delivery and let you know...
Ginger Jar Food - Maze Hill
Unit 105, 7 Coronation Road, Park Royal, London NW10 7PQ
01-07-2011
Ginger Jar canapes have made their impression at the Qype Summer Party media session last wednesday!!
I was the one circulating around the journalists and bloggers to offer those fabulous little bits and I can tell that everybody was asking for more and couldn't stop repeating how delicious they were!
Also, as I was serving them I was lucky enough to try each of the 5 different type of canapes served (AahhAah) and they were all to die for... I want more peas and mint crostini and Chorizo baskets with feta and roast tomato, it was so delicious!!!
Have a look at their website, I really like the section 'What would Jenny do...'!
If you want to be sure to impress your guests for a party, a wedding or any corporate event, I would really recommend Ginger Jar Food.
AgatheThePower Yes Alex, one of each, I know Im really lucky :-) & they were all gorgeous!

The Tommyfield - Kennington
185 Kennington Lane, Kennington, London SE11 4EZ
13-04-2011
I was at the Tommyfield last week to attend the Qype birthday event “Battle of the Sexes” quiz!
The Tommyfield is based in Newington, is a great Pub let’s say, with a ground floor where they serve drinks and diner and a private room upstairs where the quiz was held. It’s a great place to hold a private party & they have a terrace but you can’t access it (I’ve been kicked out of there ☺ but by a very kind waiter) but it still make the room look nicer!
This event was absolutely wonderful thanks to our brilliant speakers Jane & Eamon who have driven with lots of fun this 50 people ‘battle’!!!! We’ve done weird stuff, laugh a lot and the ‘palm d’or’ is going to Rachelle who had to eat a whole spoon of Marmite & other horrible food… or perhaps to the lady that down a pint of beer in something like 5-second lol!
The Tommyfield staff also deserves a big thanks for their warm welcome & also for offering us their best nibbles, some mini British food that was looking so nice, mini burgers, mini fish & chips and halloumi & chips… & everything was really good and tasty!
